I’ve been meaning to check into another provider for our home insurance for quite some time and I was motivated to work on some of my goals over the weekend.  This was one of them.  It didn’t help that I got a notice from our mortgage company saying that we didn’t have enough in our escrow account and that our mortgage payment was going up yet AGAIN.  After checking with our auto provider, Progressive, who now offers home insurance in our area, they quoted me a rate more than $750 less than our current insurer, Travelers.  A no-brainer, I’m currently in the process of switching companies.  If you haven’t checked around in awhile, I highly suggest that you do.  Rates are more competitive than ever and you could be saving yourself a LOT of money!  I was dancing a jig most of the afternoon yesterday!!
